    Triumph Integrated Systems provides a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufactures around the globe. We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs. 
    Based in Forest OH, Triumph Electronics and Controls employs approximately 160 personnel. The company's key products and services include engineering, manufacturing testing and qualifying mission critical thermal and fluid management products, and provides aftermarket services, utilized on aircraft, jet engines, advanced weapons pods, cruise missiles, avionics and electronic systems.  
    We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager, possessing the critical personal attributes and experience to lead and mentor our Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities teams
    to ensure that the production and shipments of products and services are compliant with company and customer contractual requirements.   This leadership role will provide vision and direction, build effective work teams, establish priorities, monitor performance, and support problem resolution.



      • Manage and supervise Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities personnel. Recognize the interrelationships of all components of the organization and effectively works within the structure. Participates in union meetings, grievances, arbitrations and contract negotiations as required.


      • Insure manufacturing and operational controls are in place to support ISO, AS 9100, FAA, various military specifications and other industry and customer requirements. Develop a Human Resources plan and, in association with the HR Manger, foster good working relationships and enhance productivity and create a safe, secure, satisfying work environment for our employees at both plant locations. 


      • Establish performance goals, establish metrics for continuous improvement and measure performance. Maintain, continuously improve, or convert the business from a conventional batch driven operation to a single piece flow manufacturing assembly facility.  Remain current of trends and developments in manufacturing processes, operating processes, equipment, systems automation and management techniques.


      • Allocate resources and assesses policies for operating departments. Direct the evaluation, justification and recommendation of the purchase of capital equipment.  Participate in the acquisition and set-up of new equipment, processes and facilities. Develop operations budgets for the business plan and analyze monthly financial statements to attain production and shipping goals.  Guide, direct and approve budgeting activities and prepare reports as required.



    • B.S. in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) with an advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
    • Minimum of 12 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including a minimum of 7 years combined supervisory experience in Production, Engineering, Quality or Facilities. Aerospace experience is preferred. 
    • General knowledge of ERP planning systems, SPC, Quality Systems and Supply Chain management.
    • General knowledge of Business Systems, Finance and Human Resources.
    • Knowledge of aerospace industry or similar industry products and legal and regulatory requirements related to field.
    • Ability to effectively apply continuous improvement principles and techniques to quality and manufacturing functions.
    • Due to our company’s position as a key supplier to the US defense industry.  All candidates must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States.
