    Performs a variety of assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies and/or build parts for such assemblies, according to work instructions.


    • Installs parts and components, such as incidental plumbing, electrical, rigging, or other functional items, in main structure, using hand tools and power tools.
    • May specialize in assembling and installing parts, structural components, and subassemblies to build wing assemblies Perform setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint and work instruction specifications.
    • Drills, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens subassemblies into structural assembly, using hand tools and power tools
    • Perform a wide variety of complex tests, checkouts, troubleshooting and rework on components, instruments and assemblies.
    • Contribute to team effort, work safely, and maintain a positive attitude, by learning procedures, following the leadership of your team leader, and training others with less experience


    • High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience.
    • Sheet Metal Assembly certificate, preferred
    • Ability to read blue prints and tech manuals
    • Ability to lift, squat and bend with up to 50 pounds.
    • Experience in bushing and bearing installation and installation of all types of fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks.
