    Sells technical products, services, installations, and configurations to assigned customer for specific technical product and/or application of product.

    Responsibilities

    Summary:        Sells technical products, services, installations, and configurations to assigned customer for aviation interior products and/or application of products. Provides technical interface between customer and company engineering, manufacturing and program management representatives. Researches customer technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical specifications of company products. Prepares and conducts technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives. Develops potential technical specifications, pricing considerations and contract requirements. Prepares sales forecasts. Investigates new applications or improvements to products with customers.

     

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    • Provides technical interface between customer and company engineering, manufacturing and program management representatives
    • Researches customer technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical specifications of company products
    • Prepares and conducts technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives.
    • Develops potential technical specifications, pricing considerations and contract requirements
    • Provides technical advice to customers, distributors and sales personnel responding to product related questions, issues and problems.
    • May make technical presentations at sales meetings and customer locations.
    • Acts as a liaison between sales personnel and technical staff.
    • Participates in the preparations of sales plans and campaigns, business plans, and product development planMaintains up-to-date and accurate sales records
    • Maintains technical proficiency and consults with prospective customers regarding use of company products and services
    • Builds and maintains customer relationships
    • Quotes prices, credit terms and delivery date(s)
    • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries. Communicates and coordinates with internal department as needed to flow component orders
    • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules
    • Respond to customer inquiries or direct to designated personnel
    • Travel approximately 60% of the time will be required
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor�s degree or equivalent and 6-10 years of related experience.
