    Triumph Engine Control Systems is a leading independent aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter, and business jet markets. Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph employs approximately 530 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units, and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.



    Triumph is actively recruiting a summer 2019 Program Management Intern to support a range of technical responsibilities in a fast pace manufacturing production environment. The internship provides a college-level student with practical experience related to his or her major that will enhance and complement classroom learning.

    The candidate will support the Program Management department’s efforts to manage the execution of programs. The position reports to the Lead Program Manager.



    • Assist in the project planning and implementation of a new Program Management Tool to manage project performance, control project costs, and report Earned Value Management
    • Perform as a Deputy Program Manager on an active Program
    • Research, analysis, data-mining, and presentation preparation/delivery of project status, particularly financial and technical status of programs


    • Rising Junior or Senior
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Analytics, Science, or similar fields with a technology theme
    • Good interpersonal skills including leadership, diplomacy, and negotiation are desired This position involves interaction with customers and senior executives
    • Previous experience with product development highly desired
    • Must be fluent with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS project
    • Sharepoint collaboration tools experience is desirable
    • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent resident
