    Triumph Electronics and Control is a leading independent aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter, and business jet markets. Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph employs approximately 530 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units, and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.



    Triumph is actively recruiting an Electronics Supply Chain Intern to support a range of technical responsibilities in a high pace manufacturing production environment. The internship will provide a college-level student with practical experience related to his or her major that will enhance and complement classroom learning.

    This intern will work within the Electronics Supply Chain Group assisting in Supplier Development projects and tasks.


    • Review concessions and permits from suppliers and manage their progress through approval.
    • Work with Production Electronics to review defective hardware and ensure prompt return to supplier.
    • Make recommendations regarding additional process requirements to mitigate defect escapes.
    • Work with Electronics SDE's to validate Supplier Process Capability.
    • Assist Electronics SDE's in Supplier capability and readiness assessments.
    • Work with Electronics SC Team in the generation of Supplier based Quality and Delivery metrics.


    • Qualified candidates must be a rising Junior or Senior, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Pursuing a Bachelors' Degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
    • Knowledge of continuous improvement methadologies used in eliminating waste from manufacturing processes needed.
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels in the organization.
    • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a US permanent resident.

    Ideal candidates will have one or both of the following:

    • Prior intern experience with Electronics CCA Assembly/PC Board manufacture.
    • Prior intern experience in the Supplier Development field.
