The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units, and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.

     

    Position

    Triumph is actively recruiting a summer 2019 Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support a range of technical responsibilities in a high pace manufacturing production environment. The internship will provide a college-level student with practical experience related to his or her major that will enhance and complement classroom learning.

    Responsibilities

    • Design tooling and fixtures in AutoCAD
    • Print fixtures in 3D printer
    • Assist Manufacturing Engineers with the support of assembly and test cells
    • Involvement in factory floor layout redesign to promote optimal manufacturing flow and space conservation
    • Contribute by streamlining processes and eliminating waste via introduction of new technology

    Qualifications

    • Rising Junior or Senior
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field
    • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies used in eliminating waste from manufacturing processes
    • Familiarity with principles of manufacturing production line layouts
    • Innovative approach for driving process efficiencies and cost reduction
    • Good writing ability
    • excellent mechanical, analytical, and problem solving skills
    • Self-motivated with good interpersonal and team skills
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels in the organization
    • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent resident
