  • Overview

    This role will coolaborate with the development and support of automation and machinery for a fast-paced production environment. Project management, production support, design and development of process improvements as well troubleshooting are required.  Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with a cross functional team to remove barriers and improve production processes.  Researching, coordinating with potential vendors as well as the ability to multi-task is required.


    • Maintenance and improving existing tooling and machinery components
    • Instruct and provide support to maintenance personnel
    • Equipment maintenance and support, including troubleshooting
    • Automated machinery development and/or procurement
    • Training and supporting production team members
    • Small and large tool maintenance and troubleshooting
    • Preventative maintenance planning and implementation
    • Capital equipment selection and deployment
    • Systems integration with existing and new equipment
    • Develop best practices with equipment, machinery, technology, facilities planning
    • Metrology experience is a plus
    • Prototyping small to large tools & equipment


    • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (or related Technical degree).
    • Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering background preferred
    • Team oriented w/ ability to both participate in complex projects through all phases
    • Critical thinking, ability to work under pressure and solve problems
    • Ability to communicate effectively and convey concerns to an audience that may not have the same background
    • Experience with MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
    • Some travel required (10-25%)

    Preferred: Experience with CATIA v4, CATIA v5, or 3D graphics
