    The Quality Inspection Supervisor oversees and coordinates activities of employees engaged in inspecting completed and in-process items, parts and finished products for defects and workmanship by performing the following duties:

    • Responsible for the supervision of inspection department.
    • Manages work distribution among inspection work force.
    • Responsible for understanding and applying TASV quality system requirements to work processes.
    • Must be able to learn and execute TASV Quality Procedures.
    • Responsible to forecast labor requirements and develop training plans.
    • Will make decisions at the execution level to facilitate the quality expectations of product as it moves through quality functions.
    • Will develop technical plans to support customer requirements and company goals and objectives.
    • Apply AS9100 principles and ensure adherence to quality control manual.
    • Participates in teams and committees as necessary.
    • Ensures that daily targets are achieved.
    • Ability to work within an ERP system.


    • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Engineering or other related field from an accredited institution preferred.
    • 5 years of related supervisory experience in an inspection environment (Aerospace manufacturing preferred).
    • Strong working knowledge of Quality Department Practices Mechanical testing, calibration, metallurgical & dimensional inspections.
    • Proficient in reading blueprints, understanding GD&T, and working with associated technical documents.
    • Ability to read, interpret and adhere to documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
    • Knowledge and ability to run CMM, FAIR creation 7.
    • Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
    • Experience in using Microsoft suite.
    • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product as part of continuous improvement.
