    Triumph Electronics & Control is a leading independent aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter, and business jet markets. Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph employs approximately 500 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units, and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.

    We are currently seeking an experienced In-Service Electronics Project Engineer to join our Electronics Engineering team and provide engineering support to various areas of the business focusing primarily on in-service products.


    In this role, you will be a technical expert for assigned product lines and will support and direct supplier multi-sourcing efforts and supplier process changes for those products. This is a position comes with a considerable amount on 1-on-1 and team interaction, and this position requires the ability to interface with suppliers, customers, and associates at all levels of the organization.       • Coordinate and support supplier multi-source and transition efforts for various sub-assembly and component manufacturers
      • Perform in-depth, comprehensive process audits for Circuit Card Fabrication Suppliers and Sub-Assembly Suppliers
      • Incorporate process improvements based on audit findings utilizing knowledge of Circuit Card manufacturing
      • Write engineering technical reports of audit/investigation findings or to support supplier transitions and changes
      • Provide a technical interface for supplier or customer engineering questions/requests
      • Review and approve Controlled Process Management changes (CPMs)
      • Prepare and conduct technical presentations to internal and external customers
      • Disposition of supplier non-conforming material (MRB)





    • BSEE or related degree required.
    • 3-5 years of related electronics project engineering experience is needed.
    • Extensive experience/knowledge of circuit card PCB manufacturing and fabrication is strongly preferred
    • Experience in Avionics, Instrumentation, Control System Design, or Electronics Product Engineering is preferred
    • Experience with supplier audits and critical process review is a plus
    • Strong hands-on troubleshooting or fault isolation skillset (scientific method)
    • Strong technical writing ability and presentation skills as well as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills
