    Triumph Group designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs and overhauls a broad portfolio of aircraft structures, components, accessories, subassemblies and systems.

    We are seeking a Project Engineer to support our Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AMCoE) in our office in Redmond, WA.

    The Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AMCoE) is a state of the art facility focused on providing expertise in Additive Manufacturing technologies to our customers.  The AM Project Engineer will be responsible for development, tactical planning and execution of applications and capabilities in support of customer products.  Additionally, the Project Engineer will establish tactical planning and execution strategies for supporting AM New Product Introduction, R&D and production environments.  


    • Co-ordinate the AMCoE team and support the development, application and utilization of AM technologies to support internal and external customers.
    • Build and manage technical plans, schedules and budgets for new product development
    • Develops tools and methodologies to manage all functions of the AMCoE.
    • Participate in design and application reviews for evaluation and applicability of AM part solutions and drive the use of Innovative technology and applications to improve NPI development and manufacturability.
    • Understands project requirements, technology dependencies, and develops solutions for AM customers.
    • Liaison between manufacturing/fabrication and the engineering organizations to ensure technical capability, applications and best practices are utilized.
    • Provide business development support by laying out project plans to meet customer needs, facility capability and capacity requirements.



    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Materials Engineering.
    • Minimum 5 years (10+ preferred) experience in aerospace project engineering related to metallic components or structures.
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
    • Strong project engineering and program management skills
    • Familiarity with manufacturing and processing of metallic parts in an AS9100 environment
    • Working knowledge of qualification and certification methods for aerospace products used in commercial aviation, military aviation and space applications.
    • Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, WORD, MS Power Point, MS Project).
    • Must be results driven, able to perform in a demanding and changing environment and, maintain a culture of open collaboration with all Team Members.
