    Triumph Electronics & Control, a division of the Triumph Group, is a leading global aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter and business jet markets. Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph employs approximately 500 employees. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket / spares end markets.
    The Contracts Administrator is primarily responsible for order entry, order management and maintenance for all incoming customer purchase orders and contract awards into our JDE OneWorld ERP system to drive the fulfillment of our customer’s orders either in the MRO, Spares, OEM or R&D value streams. 
    This role serves as the primary interface to our commercial, military, domestic and international customers.
    A viable candidate would possess superior data entry skills, technical customer service skills and the ability to perform and produce quality work output in a fast paced environment with a steadfast positive attitude.


    • Perform induction of all units sent by customers for their repair into our repair station.
    •  Perform customer PO review, request any changes or clarifications to the customer PO and customer needs.
    •  Perform ERP system sales order data entry (JDE OneWorld) for a  high volume of incoming customer units making sure all orders contain the required contractual work scope flow down into sales orders in a complete, timely and accurate manner.
    • Following the evaluation of any unit in the Repair shop, the Contracts Administrator will be responsible for sending each customer a formal quotation for work to return the unit to a serviceable condition and then the Contracts Administrator is responsible for following up consistently with the customer to get approval of repair work quotation in the form of a formal customer issued PO authorizing the Repair shop to proceed.
    • Build customers relationships using communication and timely updates on their units. 
    • Maintain professional, effective and timely oral and written communications customers throughout their unit’s visit to our Repair facility including timely and accurate updates on delivery of their unit. 
    • Provide support to and gain the support of the integral cross functional team members that are needed to run a Repair shop that achieves 14-30 day unit repair turn times including:  Operations & Repair shop, Materials Planning, Finance, Business Development, Quality Assurance, Shipping, Program Management, Product Support Engineering, Technical Publications and Compliance.


    • Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of related technical data admin experience, or an Associate’s degree with 5 to 7 years of related experience.
    • Significant experience in Aerospace industry is preferred
    • High proficiency and accuracy level in DATA ENTRY.
    • MS Office/ EXCEL mastery is required.
    • Experience actively using an ERP sales order entry system is required (JDE Oneworld, SAP, Syteline, Oracle, etc.)
    • Preferred candidates would have previous USG contract administration experience including USG contract review, CAV entry, WAWF and iRAPT entry or experience, TAMMS entry, Form 2410, Form DD250 or MIRR, SNRRS, etc.
    • Positive attitude in the face of daily changing priorities, strong customer care background and desire to work with customers via phone email and in person as well as professional business communications verbal and written required.
    • Attention to detail is a must and fine-tuned organizational skills will allow this candidate to be successful.
    • Note that the position requires managing a high volume of incoming units which are a high level of complexity in terms of PO review and sales order entry.
    • Successful candidate must be able to efficiently and positively switch gears, follow up and multi-task in this high volume, fast-paced environment.
