    Responsibilities

    The Infrastructure Engineer is a customer focused engineer that performs level 3 support, research, development, for enterprise systems and site-based needs. This position must be able to prioritize activities in a fast paced dynamic environment.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

     

    • Serve as a member of the Infrastructure team designing, deploying and operationally supporting enterprise services. 
      • Physical server deployments
      • Virtual environment
      • Enterprise SAN
      • Backups
      • Active Directory
    • Provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.
    • Act as a level 3 support person to help level 1 and 2 teams.
    • Monitor systems and identify issues proactively.
    • Work with IT and business users to support and implement and support business systems.
    • Generate and maintain documentation of servers, and services supported by the team.

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with typically 5-10 years of successful professional experience in companies that have successfully used IT as a business lever in driving optimization and change
    • Or equivalent education, training and/or experience
    • Must be a US Person
    • Ability to function as part of a team, involving and supporting others
    • Active Directory administration
    • Microsoft operating systems
    • Dell/Cisco server technologies
    • Dell/NetApp storage platforms
    • VMware administration (vSphere 4 to current)
    • Amazon Web Services
    • Active Directory Federation Services
