    Responsibilities

    • Manages inspection personnel in accordance with organizational policies.
    • Manages work distribution among inspection work force, addresses disciplinary issues and administers regular performance reviews
    • Responsible for understanding and applying quality system requirements to work processes.
    • Must know and execute activity in accordance with established Quality procedures.
    • Responsible for forecast of labor requirements and development of training plans
    • Will make decisions at the execution level to facilitate the quality expectations of personnel and product in the Quality queue.
    • Will develop technical plans to support customer requirements and company goals and objectives
    • Lead and participate in Process/Quality improvement activity throughout the facility
    • Set clear team expectations and ensure a culture of accountability for all employees

    Qualifications

    • The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 5+ years in a supervisor/leadership position
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents.
    • Knowledge or ability to run CMM, Laser Tracker, Faro, or Scanner inspection equipment
    • Must have working knowledge of FAI creation and the use of Net Inspect, Cytec, Visual Fair, etc.
    • Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements
    • Ability to promptly lead effective Root Cause and Corrective Action activity.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite essential
    • Strong oral and written communication skills required
