    Triumph Electronics & Control is a leading global independent aerospace fuel system supplier for the commercial, military, helicopter and business jet markets. Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph employs approximately 500 employees. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units and main fuel pumps for both the OE and aftermarket / spares end markets.

     

    Triumph is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project / Program Scheduler to join our Program Office located in our West Hartford facility.

     

    Responsibilities

    The Scheduler job description calls for an individual who is highly organized and understands the processes that drive programs / project execution. The successful applicant will work within the Program Office and is responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of multiple program schedules, working closely with both Program Managers and Engineers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintains various project schedules ensuring that documentation is accurate and timely
    • Communicates with internal customers when there are schedule variations
    • Supports the use of MS Project by providing expert advice and support to others
    • Communicates critical path information across a facility so that everyone is aware of key actions
    • Reconciles inaccuracies with program schedules
    • Ensures that the organization receive schedules in a timely manner
    • Works directly with employees to resolve scheduling issues
    • Documents key information including slack time, over runs, critical path and resource deficiencies
    • Balance multiple projects and tasks as the norm

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s or bachelor’s Degree in a technical field is preferred.
    • 1 to 3 years of related projects/scheduling experience required.
    • Proficiency and prior experience using Microsoft Project and Excel required.
    • Prior experience within the aerospace industry a plus.
    • Excellent communications and organizational skills needed.
    • Ability to use a computer and various programs especially Microsoft Project and Excel, proficiently
    • Understands how to document goals and deviations from these goals on a regular basis
    • Shows the ability to understand project milestones and how to alter execution for optimal impact
    • Demonstrates at least basic knowledge of Engineering activities
    • Shows that they can work efficiently under pressure and help motivate others to meet demands
