    Employee must b able to work and do set ups with little to no help and perform a variety of machine operations utilizing CNC or manual machining centers to cut, shape and drill or form metal work pieces to specifications by performing the following duties. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Perform a variety of milling, drilling, boring, turning, honing or related operations to close and interrelated tolerances.
    • Review set up sheets and specifications to determine machining sequence and dimensions of finished work piece.
    • Performs set up and diversified operations on CNC or manual machining centers per work instructions.
    • Measures work piece for conformance to specifications both b/p and work order.
    • Notifies supervisor of discrepancies and assist in RCCA activities.

    Qualifications

     

    • High school diploma and college degree or equivalent in work experience (min. 8 years)
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, Blue Print and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write notes for between shift tie ins.
    • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and trigonometry.
