    Responsibilities

    A key member of the leadership team, who provides overall direction, leadership and oversight to the assigned management team and workforce, with a goal of generating maximum profitability, ensuring safety and quality while meeting customer commitments.

    • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business, oversee employee productivity
    • Assists company officers and senior staff members in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives
    • Responsible for production, financial performance and operational budgets to promote profitability
    • Identifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost. Directs the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.
    • Manage procurement/supply chain processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
    • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations, AS9100, ISO, FAA, EASA, CAAC, etc.
    • Drive safety, quality and on time delivery of products and services
    • Establish and drive company initiatives that advance improvement in both delivery, cost and support of the site’s strategy
    • Establish performance goals and metrics for continuous improvement and performance measurement in support of Triumph Operating System initiatives
    • Create and distribute weekly performance reports detailing performance to play
    • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
    • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction, i.e. On-Time Delivery
    • Provides strong leadership and timely, effective interface with in-house staff support teams (Facilities, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.) to achieve production goals
    • Determines roles and responsibilities of personnel within the operation in order to accomplish business objectives
    • Hires, trains, develops and evaluates staff. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Ensures compliance with current federal, state and local regulations. Consults with Human Resources Department as appropriate.
    • Develop and implementing guidelines for employee evaluations, recruitment and promotion
    • Initiates and coordinates major projects (e.g., plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.).
    • Acts as liaison between department management/subordinate levels, as well as executive/department manager levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, policies and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes and results.

    Qualifications

    Education/Training:

     

    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Aerospace industry experience preferred

     

    Thorough knowledge of:

    • Applying Lean Manufacturing techniques and AS9100 principles
    • ERP use and working knowledge of Syteline
    • P&L statements, cost analysis reports and labor utilization reports

    Skill to:

    • Promote the company vision; communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
    • Effectively communicate to all levels of the organization and customers, both verbally and presentations
    • Plan strategically; to scope tasks and set goals and tactically execute the plan
    • Effective listen, coach/mentor, delegate & follow-through
    • Proficiently use Syteline Item Maintenance, SRO Maintenance, Incident Maintenance and BI Reporting
