    Responsibilities

    Provide operation support to the activities and resources required of computer operations and applications systems. Setup and implement software to support scheduling, reports, report generation, and data backups. Troubleshoots and resolves problems associated with these environments.

     

    Major Accountabilities:

    1. Responsible for installing and maintaining hardware and software, by providing necessary support to all end users.
    2. Understand and support the IT Staff by troubleshooting end user problems as related to Windows 7/10, O365, LAN/WAN, Cisco, Epicor E9, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server, and Terminal Server.
    3. Secures documentation of files by performing and validating nightly backups and completing backup register daily.
    4. Acts as a liaison between end user, and the IT Staff and product development teams to ensure that high impact problems are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    5. Communicate accurate & useful status updates.
    6. Manage and report time spend on all work activities.
    7. Follow quality standards.
    8. Ability to work in a team environment.
    9. Complete assigned tasks.
    10. Keep up-to-date on state-of-the-art technologies by attending necessary training classes.
    11. Contribute to team effort by maintaining a positive attitude.
    12. Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education Required:

    Bachelor’s Degree preferred, computer information systems/computer science related field; a 2-year technical degree in a computer science curriculum; or equivalent experience.

    Minimum Years of Experience Required:

    Up to two years experience in end user support.
