    Responsibilities

    • Ensure compliance with plant safety standards.
    • Ensure jobs and all necessary components are staged prior to the machine operator initiating a change over.
    • Verify parts and documentation are paired correctly.
    • By reviewing CNC setup books and job specific details, gather, assembly and further prepare all required tooling, fixtures, documentation, and set all predefined cutters in tool holders.
    • Organize and maintain components; verify and ensure inventory accuracy; including accurate part identification labels & quantities. Report immediately any quantity discrepancies to team lead for necessary adjustments/corrections.
    • Responsible to use FIFO material handling. (First In First Out)
    • Communicate with tool control and other departments as needed to obtain supplies and materials.
    • Update related metrics as required
    • Assist operators with basic operator function and setups as required.
    • Responsible for safely operating forklift, dollies, pallet jack, and/or other material handling equipment for unload/load of inbound/outbound tools and material within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
    • Process location transfers for inbound materials moving on to another shop floor location.
    • Complete and maintain all required paperwork.
    • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
    • Responsible for general area clean-up and any other duties, as assigned, to keep the production operators at their workstations; replenishing general supplies as needed.
    • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
    • Other duties as assigned.
