    Responsibilities

    • Work from Engineering drawings, blueprints manufacturing specifications and procedures, quality procedures and instructions, operation and work sheets and company, military and customer specifications and procedures and verbal instructions
    • Perform a variety of structural assembly and fastener/sealant operations.
    • Inspect to engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
    • Monitor and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives.
    • Approve and stamp acceptable assemblies and reject assemblies not meeting requirements
    • Use a variety of power tools, hand tools and shop equipment
    • Maintain necessary documentation and records
    • Notify supervision or delegate of all malfunctions, defects, and damages of equipment, material and product
    • Keep work areas clean and orderly
    • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Requires vocational or similar training, including basic shop math to aid in the interpretation and the utilization of data from engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications and procedures.
    • Knowledge of shop routines and practices is preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of personal computers, including operating systems and file management is required.
    • High school diploma or an accredited GED. Experience:
    • 2 year's related experience
    • Georgia Work Ready Preferred
    • Must be able to do the following: lift, climb, grasp, stand, bend and stoop. Basic computer skills preferred.
    • Must be able to work any shift.
