The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor directly manages those involved in building maintenance and machinery and has experience in implementing and maintaining World Class Manufacturing processes of Professional Maintenance and Autonomous Maintenance. He/she must be able to lead the Facilities / Maintenance organization thru Lean Transformation and provide direction to subordinates using established policies and procedures.
Manages the delivery of overall Facility service to operations and staff. Assesses Facility and Maintenance issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops and Manages the overall Facilities Annual Operating Plans. Leads technology development and capital project implementation teams for factory modernization. Develops mechanisms for monitoring progress and for intervention and problem solving.
Develops facilities and maintenance annual budget and strategy to help achieve business objectives. Also responsible for annual capital expenditures forecast and execution of plans. Plans and manages the work of assigned supervisors and hourly skilled trade units performing all functions involved in the maintenance of facilities and equipment. Monitors daily operations of a unit and actively assists, or provides direction to, subordinates as required. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule.
