    Responsibilities

    With oversight from the Work Transfer Director, the Work Transfer Associate will be responsible for the project management of buy-to-buy and make-to-buy work transfers. 

     

    Some responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

     

    • Work Transfer project management interface, coordinating with the Business Unit Operating Company site functional team including supply chain, engineering, operations, etc
    • Application of Triumph work transfer project tools and maintenance (risk assessment, risk register, project plan, buffer stock management, action item list, etc).
    • Process adherence across the enterprise (encompassing all Triumph Integrated Systems Business Units). 
    • Accountability for the successful execution of Supply Chain Work Transfer Projects
    • Creation and report out on metrics
    • Review and management of the overall work transfer process to ensure successful part transfer on plan through first article acceptance into production

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations (Management) preferred
    • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in project management, engineering, operations and/or supply chain required
    • Experience in analyzing and structuring project plans and development of reports
    • Experience in an aerospace / medical / industrial manufacturing environment preferred
    • 10 - 30% travel (domestic & international)
    • Excellent written and verbal communications
    • Teaming and ability to learn quickly
    • Ability to lead an indirect cross functional team, take ownership and be action oriented
    • Ability to work independently and complete multiple assignments on time
    • Word, Power Point and Excel (pivot tables, etc.)
