The Machinist, Sr sets up and operates a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions. Produces product by operating one or more specialized manufacturing machines.
Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to frequently bend, climb stairs, and reach.
Ability to sit for up to ten (10) hours per day, stand up to ten (10) hours per day, or a combination of sitting and standing.
