    Under minimum direction, responsible for providing Material Review Board authority and technical knowledge in the research, disposition, and repair of metallic and non-metallic material/components non-conformance documentation with the ability to meet customer requirements.


    • Responsible for MRB Liaison Technical support of any Commercial and/or Military Programs assigned. 
    • Review and evaluate the engineering and functional aspects of all non-conforming materials, parts and assemblies, providing the disposition prescribing all repair actions (if required) to provide adequate structural integrity, interchangeability and function acceptability. 
    • Provide technical consultation and drawing interpretation to all areas of the manufacturing facility and to external vendors/suppliers. 
    • Participate in new design concept review and studies. 
    • Assist supervision in the preparation of estimates for new designs or work transfer proposals. 
    • May be required to represent manufacturing as a Producibility Engineer in off-site design activities. 
    • Provide technical consultation and drawing interpretation to all areas of the manufacturing facility and to external vendors / suppliers. 
    • Provide documentation of discrepancies and repairs to cover correction actions taken on specific components. 
    • Participate in new design, concept review and studies to improve manufacturability, cost and quality. 
    • Create stress analysis required of the components and/or materials. 
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Bachelors Degree plus 10 years related experience.  Must have current or past Aerospace MRB experience.  Prior Boeing MRB Authority preferred.  Experience working with composites is required.  CATIA experience a plus.
