    Triumph Integrated Systems provides a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufactures around the globe. We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs. 
     
    Based in Macomb, MI, Triumph employs approximately 300 personnel. The Company's key products and services include manufacturing, test and assembly of complete transmission and gearbox assemblies as well as complex gears and housing. Our design engineering group can specify and design any gear application, from simple build-to-print to collaboratively engineered, highly specialize applications.
     
    We are looking for an experienced Materials Analyst who is well versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. The Materials Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules by coordinating with multiple departments to ensure customer orders are met on-time and at optimal cost.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for MRP Alignment from Customer Order Entry to Purchase Orders to the supply base
    • Responsible for driving inventory to optimal by customer
    • Manages a smooth introduction of WIP to the shop
    • Manages a Critical Component list and helps drive resolution to assembly road blocks
    • The Materials Manager works with Contracts, Manufacturing and Program Managers, etc. to support customer requirements, provide updates, or collaborate on special projects
    • Recommends changes to current lead times, order policy, and shrinkage factors that are missing or inconsistent with current practices. Enters non-standard order parameters into ERP system
    • Manages reports for Internal and External metrics to drive schedules and inventory improvement
    • Support other team members by providing guidance or offering insight as needed
    • They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills.
    • Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field a plus. 
    • At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/production environment
    • The last 3 years’ experience in supply and demand
    • APICS Certification a plus
    • Purchasing experience a must
    • Proven experience in Materials Management
    • Strong navigational skills in ERP/MRP system a must, we use Visual.
    • Ability to multitask in a fast pace work environment
    • Experience in coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products must
    • Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance with minimum delays
    • Ability to look at the production flow to determine manpower, equipment and material availability to cover demand
    • Ability to suggest or make improvements to current processes to better work flow in production.
    • Adaptability - ability to coordinate with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
    • Execution of tasks across multiple departments.
    • Following up with other internal departments to ensure all align with the schedule.
    • Dependability with attendance, punctuality and completing tasks on time
    • Planning/organizational skills, utilizing time efficiently.
    • Problem solving- identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
    • Gather & analyze data skillfully to develop alternate solutions:
