    Based in Windsor, CT, Triumph employs approximately 145 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include design, development, manufacture and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft and military systems.
    Reporting to the Quality Manager, we are looking for a Sr. Quality Engineer to define quality processes, standards, specifications, and other technical data necessary to meet manufacturing process requirements, FAA and Company quality requirements as well as supporting other functions in the pursuit of excellence.  S/he will coordinate product assurance procedures and ensures product compliance by utilizing a specialized combination of skill, knowledge, and ability. Responsibilities also include regular interactions with site specific high level customers. 


    •  Leads internal and external audits by maintaining contractual quality system requirements.
    • Implement common processes and procedures in support of QMS effectiveness.
    • Represent Quality organization with site customer visits, partnering with other functions within the site to ensure customer needs and concerns are appropriately addressed and rectified.
    • Monitor, review, and approve internal and external purchase orders by complying with contractual quality system requirements.
    • Lead required MRB activities and obtain corrective action by assuring supplier and internal customer responses are properly implemented.
    • Solve problems, make policy recommendations, and troubleshoot by using good judgment and collaborating with cross functional teams, suppliers and/ or customers.
    • Monitors customer satisfaction/supplier relations by addressing issues as they arise.
    • Contribute to team effort by maintaining a positive attitude.
    • Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers.


    • 8-10 years in a Quality Engineer role in an aerospace company or complex manufacturing environment
    • BS in a technical field
    • Knowledge of GD&T and its principles
    • Proficient in blue print reading and interpretation
    • Experience interfacing with customers
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Experience with APQP and PPAP a plus
    • Knowledge of AS9100, Certified Qualified Auditor (CQA) a plus
    • FAA repair station experience a plus
    • Six Sigma disciplines and Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
