    Responsibilities

    • Employee is required to work and do set ups with supervision and perform a variety of machine operations utilizing CNC or manual machining centers to cut, shape, turn and drill or form metal work pieces to specifications.
    • Operator must be able to operate multiple machines including, but not limited to, mill, lathe and hone.
    • Operator will be required to reviews set up sheet and specifications to determine machining sequence and dimensions of finished work piece.
    • Performs set up and diversified operations per work instructions with leadership support.
    • Measures work piece for conformance to specifications per Blue Print and Work Order.
    • Notifies supervisor and lean of discrepancies and assists in RCCA activities.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent in work experience (3-5 yrs.).

     

    • Excellent communication skills, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, Blue Print and procedure manuals.


    • Ability to write notes for between shift tie-ins.

     

     

    • Ability to apply concepts of basic Algebra and Trigonometry.
