    Maintains and issues material in inventory. Packages and ships product to customers

    Responsibilities

    • Utilizes ERP system for material receipts and issues material to jobs from inventory.
    • Receives material from incoming inspection or SIDA suppliers into inventory.
    • Pulls material for jobs, including stack-up, from the pull sheets.
    • Pulls, labels, packages and stages spare parts for sales.
    • Pulls, labels, and assembles kits for government spares orders.
    • Fills backorders for material shortages to job pulls once material is available.
    • Re-stocks material that was over issued or from production returns.
    • Issues material for engineering requests.
    • Performs cycle counts, updates inventory based on ECN’s, and resolves inventory discrepancies.
    • Assists with the shipping and receiving processes as required based on workload.
    • Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook.
    • Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements
    • Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of related experience. Post high school coursework or professional certification preferred.

     

    • One (1) year or less in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
    • Read, write legibly, and understand English
    • Ability to perform simple math calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
    • Perform basic computer skills, such as open and save files along with basic data entry.
    • Understand basic terminology used in the job functional area.
    • May require lifting, pulling and carrying up to forty (40) pounds
    • Frequent bending, climbing stairs, and reaching
    • Sitting for up to ten (10) hours per day, standing up to ten (10) hours per day, or a combination of sitting and standing.
    • Must meet all regulatory requirements.
