    • Responsible for inspection of assemblies and subassemblies for aircraft assembly.
    • Assures compliance to customer requirements of all product produced by Triumph Structures – Wichita, Inc.

    • Compliance is determined by mechanical means, review of test reports or certifications, or by monitoring of any acceptable Statistical methods used to assure conformance to requirements and process capability.
    • Will read and interpret models (Catia) drawings and parts lists
    • Verifies product conformance through use of inspection tools and gauges.
    • Verifies completion of Quality documents and accurate representation of product flow throughout the system.
    • Effectively communicates results to manufacturing.


    Basic Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience.
    • Must have a strong knowledge of GD&T
    • Understands Testing requirements and certifications required for QA/FAI and product
    • Has ability to understand and use precision inspection tools such as scales, micrometers, calipers, etc.
    • Able to interpret parts list and Assembly instructions.
    • Proficiency in fundamentals of dimensional metrology.
    • Excellent comprehension of machining process.
    • Profienct with Microsoft Office
    • Must know how to read and understand a spec.
