    About the Opportunity
    Help us succeed by doing your part as a leader of our Contracts/Customer Service department as a Customer Service Manager.

     

    A Customer Service Manager maintains oversight of the Contracts department by performing and directing activities concerned with contracts for the purchase or sale of products/tooling and directs and coordinates customer service activities.

    Major duties of a Contracts Manager include:

    • Acts as the primary customer interface on contracted programs and as liaison between customer and company functional disciplines and personnel.
    • Reviews customer contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and license agreements, and resolves issues impacting company compliance and ensuring satisfaction of legal requirements.
    • Receives and reviews requests for information, pricing, quotations and proposals, and assures timely and appropriate responses. Provides input for cost estimates for proposed changes to contracts and conducts negotiations of contract changes.
    • Develops, implements, and enforces administrative procedures for effective and economical performance within terms and conditions of the contract and company policies. Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, QAPs, and performance standards.
    • Consults with management staff to coordinate the functions of contract administration and contractual data and assists in matters requiring interpretation and coordination with the contract functions.
    • Establishes and maintains contact with customers to ensure the smooth and proper administration of contract requirements
    • Keeps up to date with Trade Regulations and/or changes that impact Export and HTS Classifications
    • Examines request for quote (RFQ) packages to determine all necessary information is present and performs a preliminary check against history
    • Provides support, training, advice and guidance for international trade matters to the rest of the site
    • Maintains Empowered Official status by completing required trainings

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 5 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience
    • Experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
    • 5 years experience managing Export Compliance Processes
    • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, & effective presentation skills.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Knowledge of basic statistics, graphical analysis and project management experience a plus
