    Triumph Mechanical Solutions located in Windsor, CT is currently seeking a Second Shift CMM Operator/Inspector to ensures product quality and compliance by utilizing a specialized combination of skill, knowledge, communication, and technical/mathematical ability.


    • Operate CMM to support manufacturing in-process first piece, internal inspection points and customer required first article inspection.
    • Ensures product quality and manufacturing accuracy by properly using inspection equipment.
    • Provide technical support for machining operations to ensure part quality.
    • Maintains product quality documentation by keeping accurate records and files.
    • Maintains equipment by following manufacturing procedures and process specifications.
    • Possesses a strong blueprint reading skill, geometric dimensioning and mathematical inspection skill.
    • Has knowledge in the use of all types of standard inspection measurement equipment, such as micrometers, dial bore gauges, internal and external thread gauges, use of sine plates and indicators.
    • Solves problems and troubleshoots by using good judgment and collaborating with other departments/suppliers.
    • Contributes to the team effort by maintaining a positive attitude. Is flexible, analytical and detail oriented. Fosters a positive relationship with internal and external customers.


    • High School Diploma or technical school or equivalent experience.
    • This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work may require bending, sitting, and standing, lifting to 20-25 pounds.
    • Five years in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.       Experience with PC-DMIS based software system.
    • Root cause/ corrective action experience.
    • Blueprint reading and GD&T familiarity.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
