    Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph Electrons and Controls employs approximately 500 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include specializing in the design, development, certification, manufacture and repair of fuel pumps, fuel metering units, fuel controls and electronic engine control systems for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft servicing military, commercial, regional and business jet market segments.

     

    We are looking for an experience Supply Chain Project Manager who will be provideing leadership in achieving the Company’s business objectives through effective management and execution of supply chain strategies, best practice deployment and related supply chain activities. Oversee planning, prioritization and completion of multiple cross-functional projects of a moderate to complex nature and ensure projects are achieved within an identified and documented time to budget and performance expectations.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish project requirements, communicate requirements and expectations to various stakeholders, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed.
    • Monitor and report project status to management, project sponsors, customers and other stakeholders.
    • Possess a solid understanding of supply chain sourcing for both direct and indirect material and services and be highly competent in cost reduction activities in a manufacturing environment.
    • Utilize enterprise data analytics tools and support data requirements that enable enterprise data warehouse requirements including spend data, commodity codes, data mining, savings tracking and other data related activities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
    • 3 - 5 years of related supply chain management experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Strong business acumen coupled with mental aptitude and motivation to learn new functions and expand areas of expertise.
    • Strong analytical skills needed
    • Proven track record of success in managing various projects
    • Demonstrated initiative and advanced interpersonal skills in team problem solving, relationship building and business goal alignment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
