    Responsibilities

    The Senior Analyst is a high visibility role within Triumph Group’s Enterprise Supply Chain Team that supports/leads Data Systems analysis across TGI’s Business Unit Supply Chains to achieve the Inventory Attack Team (IAT) goals. This role directly reports to the Director of Enterprise Supply Chain Cost Management & Data Systems and is responsible for deploying the use of standardized Supply Chain Buying Processes, Business Intelligence (BI) applications, and metrics to drive inventory/cash improvements. Analyze Site, OpCo and BU inventory projections to prioritize target sites that require improvement to drive Supply Chain’s Policy Deployment (PD) Core Value Drivers (CVDs) and their impact to the three Business Unit’s Cash Flow and Balance Sheet Statements.

     

    Successful candidate will be able to utilize Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards to identify sites’ ERP usage/systems gaps and deploy training on standard processes and metrics. Must be able to work within a dynamic and matrixed organization. Preferred candidate will have a strong understanding and experience in ERP Purchasing, Planning or SIOP. Key team member that maintains the relationship between Supply Chain, Materials Planning, SI&OP and IAT Workstream Leads.

     

    A strong candidate will have a great opportunity for accelerated advancement within Supply Chain Management and Operations from the experience gained by working on high impact projects and exposure to senior levels of the organization. Will have the ability to work across multiple sub functions to get exposure to different aspects of the Supply Chain and Operations.     Key Accountabilities:

     

    • Supply Chain Data Systems focal that supports the Inventory Attack Team’s (IAT) Purchased Parts and Systems, Tools and Training Workstream Teams to deliver TGI’s Inventory Goals.
    • Identify and review sites’ and OpCos’ current purchasing processes and compliance/gaps to Enterprise purchasing processes to determine if there are systems gaps or if there is a lack of process adherence and implement corrective actions and/or facilitate training.
    • Identify and compile data from multiple cross functional teams Supply Chain, Materials Planning Operations and SI&OP to better align Site and OpCo buying processes to reduce/eliminated excess inventory.
    • Work with Enterprise Cost Management and Inventory Attack Teams (IAT) to update and track key next steps and completed actions in the Purchased Parts and Systems, Tools and Training Workstream Teams.
    • Participates in Supply Chain Cost Management & Data Systems’ regular meetings and Inventory Attack Teams (IAT) weekly reviews for the Purchased Parts and Systems, Tools and Training Workstream Teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Operations required
    • MBA/Master’s Degree is a plus
    • 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Operations or SI&OP
    • Manufacturing experience required
    • Aerospace industry experience preferred
    • Understand standard ERP usage, processes, metrics and training
    • Business Intelligence (BI) Tools experience
    • Qlik Sense or LeanDNA Business Intelligence (BI) Tools experience preferred
    • Strong MS Office Suite, Excel & PowerPoint
    • Must have the ability to prioritize requirements
    • Ability to travel 50-75%
