Performs work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
Makes routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Interprets blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. 3 - 5 years experience required with CNC machines on at least 1 of the 3 listed controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi)
Performs operations involved in servicing and maintenance of machine tools, hand and power tools, machine attachments
Perform electrical maintenance on 12V, 220V, 480V
Building maintenance including: carpentry, plumbing, construction and repairs
Mechanical repairs for example, machine equipment, forklift, building and auto
Check and maintain compressor, chip collection systems
Check and service of electrical and electronic panels and controls
Replacement of parts and control modules
Disassemble, select repair procedure, repair/replace worn defective parts
Perform welding operations - optional
High school diploma or equivalent with 5 plus years of related experience.
