    Based in Redmond, WA, Triumph Fluid, Power and Actuation employs approximately 150 personnel. The Company’s key products and services specialize in motion, control and power systems for commercial and military aircraft and rotorcraft.
    We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who will utilize SolidWorks to develop 3D designs for new products, work with Program Manager to develop program schedules and critical path timelines.


    • Lead design reviews (PDR, CDR) and ensure that development risks are addressed in planning from concept through production phase gates. Be able to complete simulation models required by customers at PDR/CDR. Develop program funnels and project pipe lines to update senior management.
    • Compile customer requirements and develop compliance matrix.
    • Ability to develop DFMEA/PFMEA’s.
    • Demonstrated aptitude for handling multiple projects across all product lines.
    • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, organized, and responsible – team player is a must.


    •  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering required.
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in product/manufacturing engineering.
    • Experience with mechanical packaging of electro-mechanical devices is desired. 
    • Strong analytical background and knowledge of GD&T a must.
    • Must be able to interpret product specifications in compliance with their fit, form and function. 
    • Knowledge of SolidWorks design - minimum 3 years’ experience is a must.
    • Must be familiar with SolidWorks or similar FEA simulation modules, stress/thermal/vibration
    • Proposal writing skills are a must.
    • Proven ability to formulate and make technical presentations to customers and business leaders/owners
    • Strong FEA analysis experience using SolidWorks or similar simulation package.
