    Based in Redmond, WA, Triumph Fluid, Power and Actuation employs approximately 150 personnel. The Company’s key products and services specialize in motion, control and power systems for commercial and military aircraft and rotorcraft.
    We are looking for a Quality Engineer proficient in CMM programming, working knowledge of GD&T and RCCA.


    • Develops, writes, revises, troubleshoots and improves programs for CMM, using PC- DMIS software, Engineering specifications, Engineering drawings.
    • Uses GD&T, sound metrology practices, tolerances, datums, part position and accessibility to maximize effectiveness of CMM programs.
    • Uses extensive knowledge of GD&T to develop alternate methods of inspection of product. Reviews and interprets inspection methods used by suppliers and customers to validate their accuracy and effectiveness.  Compares customer metrology methods to Triumph metrology methods for same. Determines conformance of product, to engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Develops, implements and follows up on RCCA in response to product rejected in house and product rejected by customers.
    • Hosts audits from customers and from regulatory agencies (Federal Aviation Administration, AS9100 registrar, etc.).
    • Develops, implements and follows up on RCCA for findings resulting from these audits. 
    • Performs Over Inspection as a DSQR by performing dimensional inspections, reviewing documentation, reviewing test data and MRB dispositions; submitting data by method specified by customer (website, etc.), operating scanning equipment for 2D marking, etc.
    • Reviews and interprets customer Quality Requirements to develop and implement systems as needed to ensure compliance.
    • Manages First Article Inspection (FAI) system.
    • Provides methods and tooling for inspection; obtains certifications from suppliers and writes FAI reports in accordance with AS9102.


    • Associates Degree in Engineering Technology required. Bachelor of Science (4 year) degree in an Engineering major is preferred. Prefer CQE per ASQ. 
    • At least 3  years’ experience in developing and implementing RCCA required.
    • At least 3 years’ experience writing programs for CMM required.
    • At least 3 years’ experience authorizing dispositions as a member of a MRB.
    • Experience as a DSQR for one or more major aerospace contractors (General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, Lockheed, etc.) preferred. TTS will provide training and certification as required.Experience programming using PC-DMIS software is preferred, experience programming using other software may be considered. 
    • Experience programming on a B&S machin is preferred; programming on other CMM will be considered. 
    • Working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 with demonstrated experience developing, implementing and troubleshooting alternate inspection methods required.
    • Working knowledge of the ISO Quality Standard required. Working knowledge of the AS9100 Quality Standard preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to use standard manual inspection tools (surface plate & height gage; vernier calipers & micrometers; plug gages; thread gages etc.)
    •  Demonstrated experience writing FAI reports.
