Triumph Integrated Systems provides a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufactures around the globe. We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs. 

 

Based in Macomb, MI, Triumph employs approximately 300 personnel. The Company's key products and services include manufacturing, test and assembly of complete transmission and gearbox assemblies as well as complex gears and housing. Our design engineering group can specify and design any gear application, from simple build-to-print to collaboratively engineered, highly specialize applications.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for purchasing with a focus on bearings.
  • Buying services of the right quality, in the right quantity, at the right time, at the right price.
  • Accurate definitions and specifications of the product being procured are based on established engineering data and customer flow down.
  • In addition to the activities that are distinctly within the province of purchasing, there are several responsibilities that are shared with other departments and Enterprise Sourcing agreements, by means of customer qualifications or by decisions reached by internal approval vendor lists (AVL) & strategic sources.
  • Complete accountability for material & service quotation
  • Conducting cost/price analysis
  • Developing supply sources
  • Maintaining purchased records
  • Negotiations
  • Corresponding with vendors
  • Reconciling delivery dates
  • Receipts and vendor invoices and all other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace preferred.
  • Experience purchasing special processes, Plating, Heat Treatment, Shot Peen, Operational Machining etc?
  • BS degree
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Understand outside processing and ability to read blueprints.
  • Experience in project management, prioritizing work flow
  • Moderate travel required, about 25% (domestic and Canada)
