Triumph Integrated Systems provides a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufactures around the globe. We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs. 
Based in North Wales, PA, Triumph employs approximately 120 personnel. The company’s key products and services include design, development, manufacturer and support of highly engineered mechanical controls and components as well as production of complex mechanical assemblies using external designs for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft, naval vessels, military vehicles, nuclear power stations and industrial plants. 
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit to support the design, development and manufacture of mechanical controls, pilot interface and flight control products; while supporting the design/manufacturing of existing product lines. This position will actively support new product and technology development, allowing for a high level of creativity and conceptual design aptitude. 


  • Design of mechanical components and assemblies including creation of drawings and bills of material (BOM’s).
  • Engineering calculations related to component loads, kinematics and basic stress.
  • Generating engineering reports such as weight, MTBF, FMEA.
  • Support design reviews.
  • Coordinating and conducting component and assembly tests in the development laboratory.
  • Use tools for 3D CAD and manufacturing design.
  • Work closely with designers and technicians to generate product documentation, conduct product testing, as well as participate in cross-functional teams to achieve the technical, individual, and business objectives.
  • Develop and support documentation including test procedures, test reports, technical reports, and technical manuals to support OEM customers.
  • Evaluate technical approaches; select and implement the most cost-effective technical solution.
  • Present results of designs, studies, and projects in terms of new techniques or approaches to colleagues, management, and customers.
  • Interact with team members and peers to anticipate and resolve day to day issues and competing project priorities.
  • Coordinate projects with supply chain and production departments providing guidance for development projects.
  • Identify issues and areas for improvement with existing technical processes, either independently or through cross-functional teams.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an engineering capacity, designing for complex mechanical or electromechanical systems and assemblies.
