Triumph Integrated Systems provides a full range of integrated solutions for aircraft manufactures around the globe. We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs. 

Based in Park City, UT, Triumph employs approximately 200 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include manufacturing, test and assembly of complete transmission and gearbox assemblies as well as complex gears and housings. Our design engineering group can specify and design any gear application, from simple build-to-print work to collaboratively engineer, highly specialized applications. 


We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager who would be responsible for managing the workload, performance and process of inspection activities within the plant including in process inspection, final inspection, and delegated customer service representatives. 


  • Manages a staff of 6 – 10 people over two shifts.
  • Is accountable for performance metrics of their staff in meeting company and customer requirements and is responsible for the day-to-day performance of inspection personnel.
  • Strong skill/understanding of inspection methods
  • Strong skill/understanding with drawing interpretation of complex GD&T callouts
  • Proven ability to manage the day-to-day performance of direct reports by setting priorities, managing workload, setting clear performance expectations and assuring those expectations are met
  • Good understanding of AS9100 requirements
  • Good understanding of key Quality concepts and activities such as: Root Cause and Corrective Action, SPC, and Sampling Plans
  • Strong ability to work with and coordinate activities and priorities with other Managers and departments


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality field.
  • 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in Aerospace or other complex manufacturing industry with exacting/demanding requirements.
  • 2 years or more experience in a supervisory role
  • AS9100 QMS knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Accomplished in building positive relationships with co-workers, suppliers and customers.
  • Possess Lean 6 Sigma skills and experience. A plus
  • Proven understanding of inspection methods and a wide range of inspection equipment from simple hand tools to computer-controlled equipment
  • Firm knowledge of drawing interpretation of complex GD&T requirements
  • Proven ability to manage the day-to-day performance of direct reports by setting priorities, managing workload, setting clear performance expectations and assuring those expectations are met
  • Familiarity with advanced Quality Processes preferred i.e. PPAP/ APQP/PFMEA/8D or A3 Problem Solving
  • Overall knowledge, skills, and abilities that reflect: Leadership, Strategy Development, Financial Acumen, Organization Skills, Communication Skills, Team Work, Creativity, and Visionary Forward Thinking.
