Provide Quality oversight for diverse Supply base (Domestic/ International).
Lead Supplier Corrective Action Board. Proactively identify and implement Supplier Quality Improvement Plans. Support AS9102 First Article Inspection creation and review for Supplier base. Will be required to perform quality audits at the Supplier. Issue and resolve Supplier Corrective Actions as required from escapes, nonconformances, and audits. Support Internal/ Customer/ AS9100 audits of Procurement AS9100 section 7.4. Capable of performing Material Review Board activity as a Quality representative. Shall effectively communicate technical information with teams, as well as, employees in other business units and suppliers. Ability to analyze material flow/internal logistics and identify new process' and manufacturing opportunities for continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and seven years of related experience. An exposure and background in Aerospace manufacturing of Details and Assembly. Some Project Management experience preferred. Knowledge of inspection processes, GD&T, tool design, Audits and FMEA. Must be capable of domestic and International travel when required. Required Skill Set 5-15 years demonstrated experience in any of the following fields; simple/complex machining, Sheet metal, forgings, castings, tubing, assembly. Intermediate knowledge of SAP and 3D Modeling. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Basic knowledge of Procurement.
