Performs a variety of assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies and/or build parts for such assemblies, according to work instructions.


Plans, lays out, assembles, installation of fasteners in sheet metal and machine parts.  Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of  assembling, and installing sheet metal and machine products. Inspects assemblies and installations for conformance to specifications.  May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures and certify/test product.



High school diploma or equivalent with 0-3 years of related experience.  Post high school coursework or professional certification preferred.  Career Readiness Certificate (CRC).
