The General Helper performs manual tasks requiring moderate physical exertion and assists other workers in the performance of their duties.


  1. Perform miscellaneous direct and indirect duties (remove burrs, sharp edges, and defects, use various saws, etc).
  2. Performs general cleanup such as sweeping, removing various waste, cleaning shop and office areas, fixtures, equipment, washrooms and lunchrooms.
  3. Lubricate, hand clean parts, assemblies, and materials and production equipment.
  4. Maintain good housekeeping in office, factory and ground area.
  5. Assist other employees in assigned tasks.
  6. Move furniture and other equipment incidental to the work as assigned.
  7. Performs daily maintenance and minor machine repairs.
  8. Load and unload parts and material in boxes, racks, baskets, and conveyor utilizing forklifts, cranes and hoists as required.
  9. Package or assist in packaging parts, materials, and equipment for storage or customer delivery.
  10. Ensure proper safety procedure is followed within the team environment.
  11. Assist in the maintenance of a business culture which supports the company’s overall business objectives and goals.
  12. Maintain clean work environment in full compliance with company, customer and government regulations.
  13. Trains other employees as required.

  • High School diploma or GED certificate or equivalent in experience.
  • Six months related experience preferred.
  • Able to operate a variety of hand tools and machines.
  • Ability to follow and comprehend verbal and written instructions as well as ability to present information in both verbal and written form.
  • Must have basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse and team environment.
  • Ability to learn basic computer skills.


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardization situations.



Requires valid California driver’s license for forklift certification. Must be able to be “Fit Tested”.



Must be a US Person as defined under ITAR regulation to be considered.
