Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design and MRB. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties include static, fatigue, damage tolerance and thermal analysis. Tools utilized include CATIA and a variety of stress software applications.
ABET accredited engineering degree. MRB authority highly desirable. Experience with primary and secondary structural MRB stress analysis, including metallic and composite components. Proficient in CATIA. Ability to work overtime as necessary to meet customer requirements. Ability to use technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Will work under general supervision. Ability to work with all levels within the organization. Excellent verbal and written skills. Experience managing professionals. Ability to travel to audit MRB activity.
