Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions required. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as indicators, micrometers, bore gages, calipers and perform open plate inspection as required. Requires intermediate math and thorough understanding of GD&T practices and its application to blue print drawings, sketches and measuring instruments. Programming and operation of DCC CMM equipment utilizing PC DMIS software. Lifting of up to 50 lbs. with assistance. Good vision with correction.
High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience programming and operation of PC DMIS software and must demonstrate proficiency in the use of precision measuring equipment such as bore gages, micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
