Based in Clemmons, NC, Triumph Fluid, Power and Actuation employs approximately 200 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include manufacturing, design and repair of complex hydraulic and hydro-mechanical aircraft componets and systems.

 

We are looking for an experienced Manager of Overhaul and Repair that will manage all repair station operations conducted under Part 145.  Manages the Repair and Overhaul organization day-to-day activities and ensures the department meets customer, regulatory authority, and company goals and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises, trains, and assists all repair station personnel in their performance of repair and overhaul of articles.
  • Establishes work flow of articles returned for repair and overhaul.
  • Sets priorities and work schedules for the repair station to ensure the best overall use of time and personnel to meet established goals.
  • Establishes performance goals for the repair station, and ensures actions are taken to meet the company goals.
  • Ensures the repair station is fully compliant with all FAA, EASA and other regulating authority and/or customer requirements, as well as applicable workplace safety programs.
  • Ensures all work is accomplished using airworthiness authority accepted/approved data and/or customer provided data.
  • Works with Procurement and Planning personnel to ensure sufficient repair station inventory is available to meet customer and company turn time requirements.
  • Works with Aftermarket Administration to ensure all customer requirements are communicated to the repair station prior to start of the maintenance activity.
  • Controls R&O exchange bank of spare units to ensure AOG coverage as required and for meeting turn time guarantees.
  • Makes final decisions on all repair and overhaul functions when necessary.
  • Establishes the criteria for hiring repair station personnel, as well as the requirements for training, and maintains records to properly document those activities.
  • Ensures the availability and currency of all technical information required to accomplish repair and overhaul of articles, and the retention of records.
  • Reference the Repair Station and Quality Manual for additional duties, responsibilities, and authority.
  • Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Responsibility of supervising/managing the Repair & Overhaul team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be certificated under FAR Part 65, and have comprehensive knowledge of all applicable FARs.
  • Must have 5 years component repair and overhaul experience with a Part 145 repair station.
  • 8 years direct customer service and/or sales experience with evidence of progressive responsibility
  • Read, Write and understand English
  • Perform basic Math, such as add, subtract, multiply, divide
  • Recognize and distinguish color tags such as yellow, red, and blue Computer
  • Perform basic data entry, and open and save files
  • Understand basic terminology used in the job functional area
  • May require lifting, pulling and carrying up to forty (40) pounds
  • Frequent bending, climbing stairs, and reaching
  • Sitting for up to twelve (12) hours per day, standing up to twelve (12) hours per day, or a combination of sitting and standing.
  • Ability to hear and see, with or without the assistance of a device
  • Must meet ITAR requirements.
