The successful candidate(s) will perform repair and overhaul; including disassembly, assembly, and test, on military and commercial aviation articles in accordance with current technical data, regulatory, and customer requirements.


  • Subassembly, assembly, acceptance testing and finishing (Final-out) hydro-mechanical components by using written work instructions, e.g., engineering drawings, assembly procedures, acceptance test procedures, engineering and industry specifications
  • Strictly adheres to written work instructions as defined by the applicable engineering drawings, assembly procedures, acceptance test procedures and specifications
  • Accurately record in-process documentation, e.g., assembly work records and acceptance test data sheets
  • Ability to read basic precision measuring equipment, e.g., OD micrometers, depth micrometers, dial calipers, height gauges, etc.
  • Very good organizational skills to ensure accuracy, neatness and completeness.
  • High attention to detail ensuring product is assembled and tested to meet all quality standards.
  • Very good communication skills to contribute as a team member. Must respect and work well with others.
  • Strict adherence to all company safety requirements and company guidelines.
  • Ability to work efficiently within production time standards to meet production deadlines.
  • Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.


  • High school diploma or equivalent with 0-1 years of related experience
  • Silver level Workforce Readiness certificate or ability to obtain
  • A&P certification and 2 years manufacturing, assembly and test, or aviation maintenance (civilian or military) preferred


  • Read, write legibly, and understand English
  • Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiple, and divide)
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude
  • Attendance dependability.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility with changes in work requirements.
  • Ability to stay focused and meet deadlines, which may require overtime.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Perform basic computer skills, such as open and save files along with basic data entry.

  • May require lifting, pulling and carrying up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Standing up to ten (10) hours per day or a  combination of sitting and standing.

  • Ability to read intricate, small, and detailed writing with or without the use of corrective lenses
