About the Opportunity
Help us succeed by doing your part as a member of our Titanium Foil (Ti-Foil) fabrication shop as a Titanium Sheet Metal Mechanic.

Major duties of a Titanium Sheet Metal Mechanic include:

  • Applies adhesive and corrosion primer coating to prepared aircraft structures in accordance with engineering planning documents and customer specifications.
  • Masks and covers surfaces not to be painted.
  • Uses spray equipment to spray specified amount of thickness of primer onto prepared surfaces
  • Regulates controls on equipment to cure and dry paint or other coatings.
  • Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.
  • Reads and follows engineering pictorials for the masking and priming of parts, and the inspection of parts for defects.
  • Records completion of painting operations on planning documents.
  • Understands coating and cure times and schedules work to meet schedule requirements.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Must be highly detail oriented and precise, as the position requires customer specifications to be followed with very little room for error.
  • Must be proficient in the usage of hand tools.
