Responsible for developing compelling sales strategy and tactical plans for products and services that achieve growth and profit targets of the company. Implement strategies and plans directly and through management of TPCI sales team, as well as maximizing utilization of corporate salesforce to achieve performance objectives. Analyzes existing and anticipated customer and market requirements and promotes consideration of company products and services to fill such requirements. Participates in the preparation of company strategic and business plans, including annual corporate submittals. Provides market input to and participates in Research and Development team efforts. Identifies new applications or improvements to products. Develops strong relationships with both existing and potential customers. Maintains technical proficiency for the position incumbent, and of the sales team, sufficient to identify customer and market opportunities and present company solutions, which utilize company products and services. Leads major proposal efforts, establishing capture plans, effectively communicating the company’s value proposition using a variety of methods, including presentations, proposals, white papers, etc. Keeps informed of new products and other market trend information of interest to the company and its customers. Provides market intelligence to management.
Identifies prospective customers and their needs selling TPCI solutions. Provides interface between customer and company engineering, manufacturing and program management team members. Represents the company at various conferences, trade fairs, and networking events to attract new business opportunities.
Ensures alignment of customer technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical specifications of company products. Prepares and conducts technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives. Establish pricing strategies. Prepares sales forecasts.

Must be able to decide upon type of sales strategy that will appeal to customers and make customer decisions that will build and maintain a positive relationship with customers. Responsible for authorizing purchases of services, materials, supplies and equipment valued at more than $10,000 annually.

Work is customarily performed in an office setting with a normal temperature range. Lifting is generally limited to usual office equipment and supplies.
