Reporting to the Finance Manager UK & Isle of Man, the Payroll Officer will be responsible for three monthly payrolls currently operated by the business, process improvements and ensuring standard processes across the business. The administration of the payrolls are outsourced using two different outside providers however a large amount of work is required in ensuring the accuracy of data and payroll queries supporting approx. 400 employees.
This role is also responsible for Company pension scheme administration and reporting.
Based at the new purpose built Staverton Facility near Cheltenham. Travel to UK & Isle of Man sites may be required.
Relevant Payroll Qualifications or qualified by experience
Good standard of general education including Maths and English
5 years Payroll Experience Essential
Good understanding of payroll and pension scheme legislation/ regulations
Inter-Personal Skills with ability to communicate with non-financial professionals
Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, using own initiative
Flexible approach to working pattern required
Strong administrational experience
High accuracy levels and attention to detail required
Advanced Excel Skills
