Triumph Group is accepting applications for our 2018 Summer Internship Program. Our internships are project-based and perform activities to develop systems and analysis for a broad range of complex aerostructures assembly issues. Students can expect to learn all facets of manufacturing and will leave with invaluable skills and industry knowledge. 

 

Responsibilities

Some of the responsiblities our internships include are:

  • Plant Consolidation Activities
  • Cost Analysis
  • Quotes, and Forecasting
  • Process Documentation
  • Quality Control
  • Materials Inspection
  • Machine Optimization
  • Work within cross functional teams to make sure production requirements are correct
  • Identify current inventory
  • Identify and order tools and parts needed for upcoming production scheduled
  • Ensure deliverables are ready to ship
  • Generate and analyze reports

Qualifications

  Basic Requirements

  •  Actively enrolled student with 60 or more semester hours completed
  •  Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  •  Strong computer skills in some or all of the following: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access),
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP software such as SAP
  • Solid technical understanding
  • Effective communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting, and problem solving abilities
  • Be able to work 40 hours/wk between the hours of 7am - 4pm M-F

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required
