MRB authority to apply engineering dispositions to discrepant aircraft metallic structure. Candidate must have Gulfstream Material Review Board (MRB) certification.
As a member of MRB program, ensure full compliance of the MRB reqiremetns set forth by Gulfstream. Candidate must have a strong knowledge and technical abilities in a broad range of engineering subject to perform MRB tasks. Must be able to resolve complex engineering problems encountered during manufacturing/assembly process. Must be fully familiar with Gulfstream specifications and drawings and processes. Is familiar with quality control requirmeents set forth by Gulfstream.will perform structural analysis of non-conforming product and repairs to ensure structural integrity is maintained. Disposition of non-conformance of commercial aircraft structure encountered during manufacturing/assembly process and production, including reporting of failures, malfunctions and defects. Resolve complex engineering problems encountered, review, develop and implement revised/new processes using six sigma/lean principles.
Candidate should possess a BSAE, (preferred), ME or CE, a minimum 8 years of aerospace engineering experience including a minimum of 5 years MRB-Liaison experience . Gulfstream MRB experience required. Ability to travel.
